This 45 minute class is designed to introduce basic dance steps in Tap, Pre-Ballet, and Pre-Jazz.  This class encourages fun and creative dance learning for the preschool age group.  Level I or preschool dance for 3-5 years old and Level II or Adv. preschool  for 4-6 years old.

Aberdeen-Level I classes: Sunday @ 1:45pm, Monday @ 3:15pm, and Wednesday @ 5:30pm for 3-5 year olds

Adult Jazz/Hip Hop
This will be a fun class with upbeat music.  You'll have so much fun you won't even realize that you are exercising.

Advanced (Select) Hip Hop
This 1 hour class is the current craze.  "REAL" L.A. style hip hop!  This is a form of street dancing and video style dancing and that is what makes hip hop so fun.  This class is by audition or teacher permission only.  Ages Vary

Instructor for this class dances on professional hip hop teams, attends classes and workshops in Seattle and L.A., she does not learn her material from videos to teach hip hop.

Advanced Beginning Clogging
This advanced beginning clogging class is a form of Appalachian style clogging and Irish Step dancing.  Clogging is a lot like tap dancing but the main difference is the tap used.  Clogging uses a double action tap which makes a distinct sound.  In the advanced beginning class we concentrate on the basic steps of clogging plus getting into the next level of steps.  Terminology is taught with each step.  Prior clogging is a pre-requisite.  For ages 9 and up.

Advanced Modern
Our 45 minute modern class is designed for the advanced dancer wanting to broaden their dance training and knowledge.  Modern works on different techniques and control of balance is very emphasized.  For ages 13 and up.  Class is currently not offered.

Beginning Ballet
This 45 minute class will teach all the beginning basics for ballet positions and beginning movement.  They will be using the American Academy of Ballet levels 1 & 2 to give them good solid technique and a good terminology foundation.  Flexibility, strength, coordination, grace and poise.  Ballet barre, across the floor and center floor work. Ages 5-7

Beginning Pointe
Pointe is dancing on a specifically designed shoe to be able to execute ballet moves on the tip of the toe.  Pointe is for only advanced dancers and all dancers must be pre-tested, approved by the teacher and a physicians okay before being allowed to participate in pointe classes.  A proper pointe shoe fitting is also required.
Must also take Classical Ballet and Contemporary Ballet classes too.
 For ages 11 and up.

Contemporary Ballet

Hip Hop Open Level ages 7-11

Aberdeen-Jazz is from 7:45pm-8:30pm and Tap is 8:30pm-9:00pm.

Intermediate-Advanced Ballet

This 1 hour class is the continuation of classical ballet training and technique.  Emphasis is made on correct body positions and alignment, flexibilty, extension, balance and control.  Terminology is taught in this class.  Previous ballet training is required.  American Academy of Ballet level 7.   For ages 10 and up.

Any dancer enrolled in this class and our Contemporary Ballet class may ask for an evaluation to go en pointe. 

Jazz Open Level
This 1 hour class is a fun jazz class where technique and movement will be concentrated on.  Prior jazz is preffered.

Junior Cheerleading & Tumbling
In this 45 minute class, learn the motions, jumps and techniques to be a cheerleader.  We will also work on some open level tumbling so that can be incorporated into the cheerleading.  There will be cheers, chants and pom pom routines learned.  A great class to start any future cheerleadering.  For ages 10 and up (ages 7-9 with permission).

Private lessons are offered to dancers that are taking a group class in the discipline that they would like a private lesson in.   Private lessons are offered for gaining technique & skills, a solo routine and to improve upon a group dance that student has gotten behind in.
Private lessons are done on a very limited availability and are $30 a half an hour.
