Shaylyn is young but brilliant for her age. She is an exceptional dancer and has had some very good training. She has trained under many world reknown choreographers. She has won many national awards, top awards, high scores and scholarships in the dance field. She is on the professional hip hop team for the WNBA Seattle Storm. She is a better hip hop and lyrical choreographer and teacher than many adults. Kids in the Seattle area beg for her to teach their classes. Shaylyn has done a national television commercial, many radio voice overs, auditioned for Broadway's "Gypsy" and Disney's "Shirley Temple" movie. She toured the United States in the summer of 2007 for 3 weeks in July with a major dance company's summer VIP tour. She danced and performed in Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Omaha, and Boston. She has performed at Disneyland 4 times and will be auditioning for Disney when she turns 18. She has also performed in the Capital One Bowl in Orlando, Florida. Another goal of hers is to dance in the Macy's Day Parade. Some parents of kids her age or older that doubt her abilities to teach their kids, should realize what great skills she has to offer to their kids. Some day they'll be able to say, "she was my teacher!" She has already choreographed a hip hop duo that took High Score everywhere it competed in 2005/2006 (at 13 years old) and a group hip hop number that took a Silver in 2006. She taught a class with 32 kids in it and the choreography for both numbers the class did was HOT. Shaylyn has a bright future ahead of her in dance!
