Cassie was nominated by one of  her peers for being a nice person and having a "cheery" smile when she dances.  Another nomination said that she is a good dance partner.  She just turned 13 on March 30th and is in the 7th grade at Brier-Terrace Jr. High.  Cassie has no siblings, but loves her pets.  She has two black cats named Butter and Jackie, two black puppies named Josie and Jasmine.  

Cassie has danced since Kindergarten with Act One Dance/High Impact Dance.  She is a member of High Impact Stars Performing & Competition Companies and has a lyrical and jazz solo this year.   She has won many dance awards and has been invited to perform her dances at IDC nationals in Las Vegas and her lyrical at Dance America Nationals in Orlando.  She plays in the school band and is learning to speak Italian.  One thing most people do not know about Cassie is: She is a great cook and makes "killer" brownies (that her dance teacher hasn't ever tasted yet...hint)!
