DANCER OF THE MONTH: February/March 2008- Claire H.

Claire is located in the center back of the picture with her right arm up!

Claire is from High Impact Dance Academy Aberdeen.

Claire is 12 years old and in 6th grade at Central Park Elementary School. She lives with her parents and 9-year-old brother, Kyle. She has 1 cat named Taz and wants a puppy REALLY badly. Claire started dancing with Daneker Dance when she was in kindergarten and has been dancing ever since. She is currently taking classes in tap, jazz, hip hop and clogging. Claire loves to play basketball and volleyball. She plays the clarinet in band and jazz band and also plays the piano. She also enjoys theatre - she recently played the part of Gil in her school's production of "The Little Mermaid" and was in the 7th Street production of "Treasure Island." In her spare time she loves to go horseback riding and ride her motorcycle. She maintains A's and B's in school, and received the Lions Club Student of the Month Award for February. Her favorite song is "With You" by Chris Brown and her favorite movie is "The Little Princess." Something people don't know about Claire is that she will be competing with her school's Math Olympiad Team in May. Her family is very proud of her - keep up the hard work, Claire!

I would like to nominate Claire Hurd as Dancer of The month for January. I think she is a great girl and is improving her dancing skills everyday! She is one of my closest friends and a phenomenal dancer!
