High Impact Dance Academy has two locations: High Impact Dance Academy Aberdeen and High Impact Dance Academy Elma. Located in Washington State.
Our philosophy towards dance education is to encourage a love of dance no matter what age, level, or style. Dance, Dream, Believe...
ACT ONE DANCE was established in July 1995 in the Seattle area. In July 2005, the name was changed to HIGH IMPACT DANCE ACADEMY merging with High Step Dance Academy Lynnwood. HIGH IMPACT DANCE ACADEMY moved down to Grays Harbor in May 2006 to continue the FAMILY TRADITION set forth by Teri Daneker, whom ran Daneker Dance School for 36 years on the Harbor. Dayna Daneker-Sayler brought her studio back home. Now HIGH IMPACT DANCE runs and operates out of Southshore Mall in Aberdeen and it's own building in Elma.
Dayna Daneker-Sayler, owner and director of High Impact Dance Academy has been dancing all her life and teaching for 26 years. Dayna was married for 18 years and has three beautiful children. She has currently remarried and is now Dayna Daneker-Rush. Through her years in dance, Dayna has studied with many great choreographers (Al Gilbert, Lane Alexander, Gus Giordano, Danny and Betty Hoctor, Scott Benson, and Roland Dupree to name a few) and has had many great opportunities while touring the United States with Dance Caravan and Dupree Dance Expo. Dayna now has students that have professional careers (three dance for the Seattle Storm Dance Troupe, a few have become great dance instructors and some have gone on to professional theater with one even performing with the 5th Avenue) High Impact Dance has also had a dancer tour with a national summer dance tour, two audition in L.A., and local pagaent contestants. Dayna has choregraphed many musicals, which include "Seussical The Musical", "Honk", and "Annie, Jr." amongst many others, choreographs pagaent production numbers and has been a Master class teacher in the Seattle area. Dayna loves to work with children of all ages and skill levels, but finds the preschoolers to be her specialty. After owning a studio and teaching in the Seattle area, Dayna and her daughter Shaylyn are on top of the best education.
